Last futsal

Welcome bloggers. On the 4th of December it was our last futsal session with Kingsley and Leon. In our last session the first thing we did was play silly games. The games that we played was different kinds of relay races. They were tunnel roll, up and over, head catch, hot potato, only hand with the ball, only feet with the ball and dribbling. After we had those games we were split up into two groups. One went to play a full game of futsal and the other one was playing other games. After that we switched over. After we all switched over we all sat down in front of Kingsley and Leon to say goodbye for our last lesson. It was really fun having to play futsal with Kingsley and Leon. CHOIR!!!!!!

Hello bloggers. On the 26th of November some of the Waikowhai Students where in the choir and they were going to the town hall to sing some songs with the Mr Lambert and some of the other conductors who were conducting us. There were two side there was a B side and a A side. There were a lot of school in the town hall and students I think there was about 481 student in the town hall that were singing. So we had to wait at the bottom of the stairs and then we had to go inside the hall and sit down in our lines. So we started to sing the songs we have been learning for the last two terms. There were some bands who were playing instruments and backing us up. The favorite song the we sang was in winter. It was really cool singing in the Town Hall and hot.

Unveiling

                                       Unveiling the new garden 

Hello bloggers. On the 4th of November all of the Waikowhai students and adults were told to gathered around the garden . When they were all sat down our Principal Mrs Peterson got up and said a speech to all of the adult who came to see our opening garden. Now after she said her speech it was time to open the garden. The people who were opening the garden were Alan and Bella who were opening each side of our garden. After they opened our garden we sang a song which one of the adults Mrs Philips created a song for our school and the song was called I am learning. In our song there was they was a English part and there was a Maori part. This song was the best school song that we had ever sang. So this is My blog about our Amazing Garden. Supermarket trip

     Supermarket Trip

Hello bloggers, On the 23rd of October the seniors went to a  New World trip. A few weeks before we went to the Supermarket trip we had lessons of food with a teacher who knows all about food and her name was Isabel. Isabel taught us how many sugars, fiber, fat, protein and sodium that were in some foods and drinks we were eating and drinking. On our first lessons Isabel showed us how much thing that were in foods. After she taught us that we had to get in to group of 4 and we had to have 5 people in our group. When we had done Isabel handed out some papers that had one types of cereals. Then she gave  number which were  1-5. Now she goes to each group and she called out our numbers and she writes down how many fiber, fat, sugar, protein and sodium. After that we had finished our lesson for the day. Our second lesson we had to do the same thing but she gave us photos of drinks and we had to put them in order to more sugar to less sugar. When we had done that she showed us how much sugar that we in all of the drink and she put them in the corret order. Now it is time to go to the Supermarket. We had to go by classes at different times. Hauraki then Manukau and lastly Waitemata and My class was Waitemata. When we were about to go Miss Daly put us with an adult and my group with beyond was Mosese, Nikhil, Ehsan and myself. A few moment later we had finally got to New World. We had to stay in our groups and we got a sheet that had sometimes food and everyday foods and we all had to fill it all up. When everyone was done the first page we had to do the other side of the paper and we had to write down Green fruits and veggies, Purple, Yellow, Red and White and we had so much fun. Then Elizabeth Had a Surprise and it was a...... 60 dollar gift card from New World and got a free lunch box and had a wonderful day.
